Ready to welcome the all-new Ford Focus 2018 with Crossover-Inspired Active variant

According to the latest car news, Ford is already making the next-gen Ford Focus 2018 and the all-new model will hit the market next year. A new report informs that in the lineup, there will be a crossover-inspired Active variant and a Vignale plush version.

At the beginning of this week, Mr. Jim Farley, Head of Ford's Global markets disclosed to the investors that the automaker wants to follow the all-new Fiesta’s formula and marginally release the Ford Focus 2018 to the market. Additionally, he stated that the new compact Focus would have a bit lower weight than the current models.

The Header and another spokesman of the company also confirmed that the all-new Ford Focus 2018 serving for the European market will be introduced in the first or second month next year. And it is expected to hit dealerships by the end of 2018 summer. Moreover, the Euro-spec models will be produced in Ford’s manufactory located in Saarlouis, Germany while the U.S. counterparts will be built in China.

In Europe, the Focus has become the fourth best-selling car in its segment following the winner Volkswagen Golf, Opel Astra and Skoda Octavia. And the 3rd gen Blue oval’s compact, in spite of having gone through 7 years in the auto market, still, proudly gains favors of many car lovers with over 119,000 unit sold in the first 6 months of 2017.

The new Ford Focus 2018 will be running on a slightly larger platform, which is an effective solution for the limited cabin - one of the biggest problems of the current Focus.

Looking at the revealed spy photos, it is predicted that Ford will bring some revolution in appearance of the all-new Ford Focus. The new Focus will shift to a full turbocharged turbocharger in the US, while it will also have a modified diesel engine in Europe. Ford's 1.0L Ford EcoBoost might stand at the bottom of the lineup.
