Nissan Philippines has updated the Urvan for the 2024 model year. While it still comes with the same design and power unit, Nissan PH has added a standard safety feature to the Urvan.
2024 Nissan Urvan
The 2024 Nissan Urvan is now equipped with vehicle dynamic control (VDC) as a standard feature on all variants. Of note, the VDC was once only available on the top-spec Nissan Urvan Premium variant. The VDC is a system that enhances stability by monitoring and adjusting engine power and brake applications. This provides better control of the vehicle during sudden maneuvers or adverse road conditions.
The availability of the VDC on all 2024 Nissan Urvan variants further reinforces the van’s standard safety features, which also include high beam assist, auto headlamps, and auto-dimming rearview mirror. Through the Urvan’s updated standard safety features, Nissan Philippines said that it “redefines the standard for family vans and fleet vehicles.”
Nissan PH added that the updated standard safety tech on all Urvan trims makes it a safer and more secure workhorse whether it is used as a fleet vehicle for the transportation of cargo or by individuals ferrying passengers.
Safer workhorse
All 2024 Nissan Urvan variants in the Philippines also come with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and brake assist. Meanwhile, the inclusion of six airbags is exclusive to the Urvan Premium and GX 3-seater variants.
"The Urvan has proven to be a reliable vehicle for the transportation needs of Filipinos, and we are happy to introduce these changes to further enhance its safety," Nissan Philippines President Juan Manuel Hoyos said.
When it comes to what powers the Nissan Urvan, all variants are fitted with a 2.5-liter diesel engine that delivers 127 horsepower and 356 Nm of torque. The engine is connected to either a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission, depending on the variant. In case you’re wondering, the Nissan Urvan has 195mm of ground clearance.

Locally, this passenger vehicle was launched in June 2015 and was named the Nissan NV350 Urvan. It was offered in five models: a super base, three-seater cargo, an 18-seater VX, a 15-seater shuttle, a 12-seater Escapade, and a high-end 10-seater.
In October 2017, the van’s fifth generation was unveiled with updated looks and modern features.

The NV350 Urvan’s body is still boxy but character lines and curves make it look updated. It features a sliding side door that opens wide for easy boarding and exiting.
Nissan NV350 Urvan Interior
The aura inside the NV350 Urvan 2025 is subtle but offers the utmost comfort. Its interior is gray with tough plastic materials. The seats of the shuttle variant come with standard fabric covers while top models are fitted with premium material.
