Is this the Mitsubishi Xpander-based, next-generation Nissan Livina?

Back in July 2018, Philkotse.com reported that the Mitsubishi Xpander will get Nissan badge soon. Now it’s time to welcome this new face of this heated-up MPV which was occupied by the Nissan Livina. This was revealed by Instagram user @indra_prasetya1604 but now both the images and account have been taken down.

The first photo shows a car predicted to be the Xpander’s tail lamps and the distinct black band combining the rear hatch with the rear quarter panel window. Meanwhile, the second photo reveals the “V-motion” grille, plus a different front bumper. The rest is almost the same as seen in the current Mitsubishi Xpander including LED position lights and the bumper-embedded headlamps.

Especially, Kompas.com - an Indonesian news outlet reported that dealers of Nissan in Jakarta were already accepting orders for the Nissan-badged Xpander. Besides, it is said that the Xpander-based twin MPV would make its debut in late this month while deliveries for customers will start in March. Kompas also confirmed that it is dubbed Livina by Nissan dealers.
