Xpander-based Nissan Grand Livina 2019 to be launched next year

The next-gen Nissan Grand Livina 2019 will likely walk into Asia-Pacific just like the Xpander.

The Renault-Nissan Alliance has finally got their first fruit - the all-new Nissan Grand Livina 2019 developed from the Mitsubishi Xpander platform. The new car will make its debut in the next year.

The upcoming MPV will get the same exterior as the Xpander, except for unique lights and bumpers. It will measure 4.5 m long, 1.8 m wide and 1.7 m high, along with a 2.8 m wheelbase which is capable of offering 3 seating rows for occupants with comfort.

The new car will make its debut in the next year

Under the hood, the Grand Livina could be powered by a 4A91 1.5L MIVEC 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol mill which can produce 104 hp and 141 Nm of torque. It is predicted to work with a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual transmission.

According to the latest car news, the Nissan Grand Livina 2019 will be assembled alongside the Xpander at the newly-built Bekasi plant of MMC located in Indonesia. It is expected to go head to head with the Toyota Avanza, Suzuki Ertiga, Daihatsu Terios and Honda BR-V.

Similar to the Xpander which it is based on, the Grand Livina 2019 is likely to be delivered to Asia-Pacific market.
