Geely Philippines made it clear that it will use its resources to aggressively expand its dealership network this year. Now that we’re halfway through 2022, the company announced that it has opened its 30th and 31st dealerships in the provinces of Laguna and Butuan, respectively.
Geely Calamba is now open for business
This means that the goal of establishing 40-strong dealerships before the year ends is starting to see daylight. The ambitious charge is led by Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) President and CEO Yugo Kiyofuji who took office last April 2022.
“This marks another milestone for Geely in the Philippines and we are indeed excited to expand our reach to our customers, especially in these two new locations such as Calamba, Laguna and Butuan City,” said Kiyofuji.

Geely Butuan is also ready to serve customers
Geely Calamba, operated by Alphamile Dealers Incorporated, is a 1,620-sqm. dealership located at Purok 2 Brgy. Makiling, Calamba, Laguna. Meanwhile, Geely Butuan, operated by Autohub Group, is a 1,500-sqm. outlet that is situated along National Highway, Butuan City. Both new dealerships are open from Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
With a back-to-back launch, more customers are expected to be welcomed to the Geely brand. Geely Philippines is offering four models, with the Emgrand as its entry-level vehicle. The Geely Emgrand is a subcompact sedan that comes with a premium-like design inside and out.
7-seater Geely Okavango
For those customers residing near the new dealerships that are looking for their next family vehicle, they can consider checking out the Geely Okavango. It is a 7-seater vehicle that the Chinese automaker claims to be a cross MPV (crossover/multi-purpose vehicle). As such, the model brings the best out of the two said vehicle types.
“This will enable us to further bring affordable, exciting, and technology-rich vehicles as well as to provide our certified after-sales service to our customers in these locations,” added Kiyofuji.
