This is probably one of the ways to get your hands on this track-only beast.

The high-performance and track-only Bugatti Bolide has received a tinier, more accessible version that one can “park” on a display cabinet or a desk via the well-known Lego Technic line.

The scale model consisting of a total of 905 pieces features accurate details of the real-life track beast. The Lego Technic Bugatti Bolide even gets a faithfully recreated W16 engine with moving pistons. It even has a movable steering wheel, scissor doors, and low-profile tires, among other details. It is then colored black and yellow, which is a nod to the favorite colors of Bugatti founder, Ettore Bugatti.

Just as we’ve mentioned above, the Lego Technic scale model is certainly more accessible than the real-life car. That’s because it only costs $50 before taxes. From local authorized Lego distributors, the scale model in question costs around Php 3,700.

Do note that while the Lego Technic Bugatti Bolide is a hefty foot-long piece, it is also much more affordable than many other scale models from the Technic series. The Lego Technic Bugatti Chiron for instance costs around Php 29,000 locally.

Remember also that the real Bugatti Bolide costs around $4 million (around Php 223 million). That’s quite a price tag for something you can only use on a racetrack. And even if you have that kind of dough to spend on a non-road legal vehicle, getting one will still be a challenge since it is limited only to 40 units.

For those who are curious, the actual car can make up a whopping 1,824 horsepower. It uses a huge 8.0-liter W16 engine, and it mostly uses carbon fiber for most of its body. This results in a relatively light curb weight of 1,450 kg, which is lighter than the Toyota GR Supra.

So suffice to say, the new Lego Technic Bugatti Bolide might be the most affordable way to own a Bugatti. Sure, it isn’t the real thing, but do remember that the Lego Corporation has a standing partnership with Bugatti. That said, the Bolide scale model is the easiest way to get your hands on this awe-inspiring vehicle.
