For the past few weeks, Kia Philippines has been teasing us with the arrival of its five-seater subcompact crossover called the Stonic. The Kia Stonic has been around in the global market since 2017 and is about to be launch in the Philippine market in October this year.
Kia Philippines hasn’t released any further details about the Stonic and will likely reveal them days before the official launch. This left us wondering how the Stonic will be priced once it is available in the country. Luckily, Autoindustriya.com got hold of initial reports about the Kia Stonic.

The Kia Stonic will debut in the Philippines in October
The Kia Stonic will reportedly come from China instead of South Korea. This means that the Stonic will be joining the Soluto as part of the Kia vehicles sourced from China. Since the Soluto comes with quality construction, we can expect the Stonic’s quality is assured as well.
As for the engine, the Kia Stonic will reportedly use a 1.4-liter gasoline engine according to Autoindstriya.com’s source. If this is the G4AFA 1.4-liter Gamma engine from Hyundai, then the Stonic could make 99 hp and 136 Nm of torque.
