The word is out. Kia Philippines will be officially debuting the EV6 all-electric crossover next month. While we wait for its pricing, the Korean car brand has already revealed the specs of its upcoming electric vehicle (EV).

Kia Philippines said that it will be offering a single variant for the EV6, the GT-Line Long Range. It comes with distinctive exterior styling that arguably standout in the current sea of vehicles in the country.
The Kia EV6 GT-Line Lone Range has a sleek front end that’s highlighted by the sweptback LED headlights that are integrated with LED daytime running lights. The angular bumper along with the glossy black accents further make the EV6 a head-turner.
The Kia EV6 comes with 20-inch two-tone alloy wheels
The side profile is also never short when it comes to making the EV6 pop out. The prominent fender flares and the two-tone 20-inch alloy wheels make the vehicle look bulky as well as muscular. It also has a glossy black trim on the lower part of the doors which sweeps upward, creating an illusion that it’s connected to the LED taillight pattern. You also might have noticed that the Kia EV6 has a fastback-like profile when viewed from the side.

The 2023 Kia EV6’s rear is probably one of its most distinctive design detail. The LED taillights run through the whole rear end, giving a modern look. The indicator lights or turn signals further add style points to the EV6’s rear.

The panoramic curved display, composed of two separate 12.3-inch screens dominates the front interior. It has a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster as well as a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. At the back, the legroom is abundant but the headroom might be a bit tight due to the EV6’s fastback profile. Up to three individuals can seat on the rear seats. In case you’re wondering, Kia’s all-electric crossover has a Meridian surround sound system with 14 speakers.
Legroom for rear passengers is not a problem
In terms of safety, the Kia EV6 is equipped with tech features that you can expect from modern cars. It has adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, forward collision avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic alert, rear camera, and front and rear sensors, among others.
The 2023 Kia EV6 GT-Line Long Range variant is equipped with a 77.4 kWh lithium-ion battery. The Korean car brand said the EV6 can travel over 500 km on a single charge. It generates 226 hp and 350 Nm of torque. It’s a rear-wheel drive car and comes with a single-speed automatic transmission. The EV6 also has three drive modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport.

Kia PH has yet to announce the official pricing of the EV6 GT-Line Long Range. Previously, Kia said that the EV6 will be priced under Php 4 million. The Kia EV6 GT-Line Long Range will be making its Philippine debut on March 21, 2023.

It comes packaged with a portable charger, a 5-year or 160,000-km vehicle warranty, as well as an 8-year or 160,000 km battery system warranty, whichever comes first.
