All 16 graduates were sponsored by the Isuzu Heart and Smile Project. Under this initiative, underprivileged youth from the poorest communities in the Philippines are provided with scholarships. This arms them with the knowledge and skills to become world-class mechanics who may go on to contribute to the local automotive industry.

Besides celebrating the graduation of the 19th batch of Auto Servicing NC4 graduates, AMTrac also welcomes its 23rd batch of trainees for the same course. A total of 18 out of the 23 are Isuzu Heart and Smile Project scholars who were carefully chosen out of 600 applicants.

“Studying and graduating from this school will earn you a full-time job in the Philippines auto industry. You will also increase an opportunity to work in the automotive sector around the world” said IML Senior Executive Officer Hirozaku Okubo in his address to the incoming trainees.
