Mitsubishi Motor Philippines Corporation (MMPC) announced its commitment to enriching the lives of Filipinos through its new slogan called “Life Made Better,” which aims to create a positive culture moving forward to improve the experience of the company’s customers and partners.
A successful PNSC for 2021
MMPC’s latest collaboration is with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in hosting the 2021 Philippine National Skills Competition (PNSC). It is an annual nationwide activity designed to both acknowledge individual technical excellence and allow opportunities for international exposure among the youth and skilled professionals.
“MMPC is honored to be a part of the 2021 PNSC. We are glad that we were able to share our world-class facility and equipment to further hone and put in display incredible, young talent. This is actually not the first time we have worked jointly with TESDA, in fact, a lot of our line workers are graduates of an Apprentice Program that we have established with them which dates back to 2013,” said MMPC CEO and President Mr. Takeshi Hara.
The competition was held again after being postponed for two years
A total of 10 test units including the Mitsubishi Mirage G4 and Xpander were used in the 4-day challenge. It was held at the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Training Center in MMPC’s main office and plant in Laguna. Here are the winners of the PNSC alongside their respective coaches:

“To all coaches, experts, and competitors, congratulations to all of you! Especially to our competitors, I would like to extend my gratitude that you took the courage to participate and demonstrate your unique skills. And more importantly, because you are here today to show your desire to get some experience when it comes to automobiles and aspirations to eventually work for this industry,” said TESDA Laguna Provincial Director Ms. Czarina Dacuma.
