The revival of Ralliart is only getting started, but Mitsubishi’s performance division has already revealed various Ralliart packages and concepts such as the Vision Ralliart concept that fans would appreciate. Part of these are aesthetic upgrades for the brand’s compact crossover, the Outlander.
Mitsubishi Outlander Ralliart Style
Dubbed as the Outlander Ralliart Style, this package looks very similar to the initial Ralliart models (Montero Sport and Strada) when the performance division made its comeback. The Outlander Ralliart Style is painted in premium, high-brightness White Diamond color which helps bring out the aesthetic enhancements.
Included in the package are front, side, and rear garnishes all painted in red to exude a sporty appearance. The alloy wheels are painted in black, while the side decals and mud flaps feature the Ralliart logo. It shares the exact same Ralliart enhancements as the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross.
Another upgrade to the crossover is the Outlander Wild Adventure Style, which is a non-Ralliart version. As the name suggests, this package offers genuine off-road accessories made in partnership with the Japanese outdoor brand Ogawa. This is an ideal choice for those owners who fancy off-roading and camping in the great outdoors.
Mitsubishi Outlander Wild Adventure Style
A Black Diamond paint finish has been chosen for the Wild Adventure Style package. It is complemented by chrome trim on the front, side, and rear garnishes, including a rear spoiler for added sportiness. Thanks to the brand’s collaboration with Ogawa, this package comes with a roof carrier, a trailer hitch, and camping gear.
No official powertrain specifications have been disclosed by the Japanese marque. But considering that the two Mitsubishi Outlander models get an EV badge, then both are most likely powered by a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system that includes a 2.4-liter 4B12 engine and two electric motors.
Mitsubishi Motors will showcase the two Mitsubishi Outlander models at the 2022 Tokyo Auto Salon. They will be joined by five other new Mitsubishi models, including two concept cars. The production versions will reportedly go on sale in Japan from April 2022 to March 2023.
