IPC strengthen its partnership with J&T Express

Through a contract signing held last August 12, the logistics company has purchased hundreds of NQR and FVR trucks from Isuzu Makati. Led by one of Isuzu Philippines Corporation’s (IPC) most established authorized dealers, Gencars, Inc., the said dealership was recently renovated to serve customers better.

Competing in the light-duty truck segment, the Isuzu NQR is under the brand’s N-Series trucks. Meanwhile, the Isuzu FVR (F-Series) offers medium-duty trucks. The F-Series is the more ideal for long-haul deliveries as it can capable of carrying more cargoes with its longer body length than the N-Series.

IPC didn’t specify the exact configurations the J&T Express acquired at the Isuzu Makati dealership. But the new purchases will be joining more than 400 units of Isuzu trucks under the logistic company’s fleet. The ceremonial contract signing was held at the IPC Binan, Laguna Office which is joined by key officials from the concerned parties.

J&T Express' Isuzu truck fleet is growing

Aside from the truck purchases, the contract signing strengthens the partnership’s national fleet program. IPC President Mr. Noboru Murakami assures J&T Express that the national fleet program will provide the utmost comprehensive support to vehicle maintenance so the trucks can underscore the brand’s renowned reliability.

The logistic company can also make sure that its business will be in good hands as IPC was hailed as the best-selling truck distributor in the country last year. It managed to sell a year-high 4,427 trucks in 2021 across categories III (Light-Duty Trucks), IV (Medium-Duty Trucks), and V (Heavy-Duty Trucks), accounting for 45.5-percent of the market share.
