Honda PH resumes nationwide operation along with new safety SOPs

Updated Sep 29, 2020 | Same topic: COVID-19 Updates

Honda dealerships have reopened, but before getting your own Honda, read this first.

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HPCI), Honda’s automobile arm here in the Philippines, has resumed its sales as well as after-sales service operations.

But in order to ensure the health and safety of its dealer associates, employees, as well as customers, the company is implementing strict health and safety protocols.

Just like the other businesses that have reopened, HCPI is requiring its customers and dealer associates to wear facemasks while entering dealership facilities.

The company is also providing hand sanitizers in key areas for all to use. Honda requires that high traffic areas be regularly sanitized, as well.

These include vehicle maintenance and repairs areas, business and transaction areas, and of course, the showroom floor.

Daily inspections are also conducted in the said high traffic areas to ensure that the health and safety protocols are met, and the quality and timeliness of sanitation is maintained.

Honda PH also encourages everyone entering its facilities to observe social distancing especially in areas like the service reception, customer lounges, cashiers, the showroom, etc. To facilitate this, all common areas now have demarcation lines to ensure the one meter minimum distance between persons.

As per the various community quarantines guidelines being implemented nationwide, Honda dealerships located in areas under the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) are operating in a limited fashion.

As such, customers who are seeking to visit Honda dealerships are encouraged to schedule an appointment first. This measure will ensure the avoidance of crowding, which in turn will ensure the transition of Honda dealerships into the “new normal.”
