All-new 2021 Honda City RS already available with low DP promo

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), Honda’s automobile business unit in the country, continues its 30th-anniversary celebration by extending the special offers under the “Honda@30: The Dream Lives On” promo this November.

Through the promo, customers can enjoy an all-in low down payment of Php 34,000 for the top-of-the-line 2021 Honda City 1.5 RS CVT. The new 2021 Honda CR-V S Diesel 9AT is also offered with a low down payment of Php 130,000.

What sets the top-of-the-line 2021 Honda City RS variant apart from the other variants is its additional sports body kits that provide a commanding presence on the road. From front to back, the all-new Honda City has been redesigned purposely, making it stand out against its competition in the B-segment sedan.

Inside, the 2021 Honda City comes with a redesigned dashboard layout and aircon vents. The subcompact sedan provides entertainment through an 8-inch infotainment system that supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Under the hood, all Honda City variants are powered by a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder i-VTEC gasoline engine capable of making 119 hp and 145 Nm of torque. The Honda City RS variant comes with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

HCPI said that all customers who will be purchasing a Honda vehicle this month will also be entitled to a Petron-Honda Value Card that earns an additional 100 peso point bonus for every 140 liters of gasoline or 200 liters of diesel accumulated per month. Other benefits of the Petron Value Card includes free towing and roadside assistance, and year-round personal accident insurance.

<p>The entry of Honda Cars Philippines Inc. to the subcompact sedan segment is the City. Now on its fifth-generation model, the new model comes with a sleeker exterior design along with a revamped interior and an updated in-cabin features. From the looks of it, this vehicle looks well suited to go up against its rivals in the subcompact sedan segment such as the <a href="" title="Toyota Vios Philkotse Car Guide">Toyota Vios</a> and <a href="" title="Kia Soluto Philkotse Car Guide">Kia Soluto</a>.</p> <p>The exterior of the latest release&nbsp;looks sleeker and sportier as compared to the outgoing model. Upfront, the top-spec RS variant&nbsp;comes with full LED headlights, LED fog lamps, a more prominent fog light garnish, a glossy black mesh grille, and a sporty bumper. On the other hand, the non-RS City variants also come with a striking facia but it doesn&rsquo;t have fog lamps. Also, non-RS trims are integrated with halogen projector headlamps.</p> <p>Honda&nbsp;Philippines is offering the City on four variants: RS CVT, V CVT, S CVT, and S MT. All variants come with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder i-VTEC gasoline engine. The said power unit generates 119 hp and 145 Nm of torque. In addition, all variants come&nbsp;with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) except for the entry-level S variant that uses a six-speed manual gearbox instead.</p>
