Hino Motors Philippines (HMP) has been a partner by the Filipino community amid the challenges of the global health crisis through its Total Support promise. Last year, Total Support provided free shuttle services for health workers and frontliners in partnership with the Department of Transportation (DOTr).

Now, the Japanese trucks and buses manufacturer is taking its customer service to the next level through its latest offering called Hino Insure. In partnership with Standard Insurance, Hino Insure provides hassle-free insurance for Hino customers. This is an important offering from the brand as there’s plenty of uncertainty in today’s time.
“One of the many things we’ve learned during this pandemic is to always be prepared. Guided by our Total Support philosophy, we at Hino always try to think ahead and provide holistic quality service for our vehicle owners,” said HMP President Mitsuharu Tabata.
Under the Hino Insure, it provides comprehensive coverage against damage or loss to the insured vehicles caused by collision, self-ignition, lightning, malicious damage, and theft. Acts of Nature is included in the insurance program.
The Acts of Nature ensures that Hino trucks will be restored back to their original running conditions in the event of the following:
- Flooding
- Typhoon
- Earthquake
- Other natural occurrences
Moreover, the special insurance package protects owners from medical and hospital bills to treat injuries of the drivers, passengers, pedestrians, and third parties. It also includes the repair costs to third-party property damage caused by the insured vehicle. To note, the Hino Insure for Hino trucks and buses is available in all Hino dealerships nationwide.
The Hino Insurance provides a hassle-free ownership
“Having Hino as our partner is a great opportunity and allows us to reach business owners who wish to protect their assets. We recognize the need to secure business during these trying times and recover possible losses when unforeseen circumstances arise,” concluded Standard Insurance President and CEO John Echauz.
