Club Xpander Philippines (CXP) celebrated its three years as a group with more than 2,600 members. The group formed by the love for Japanese MPV has grown since its second anniversary celebrated last year which, at that time, consists of around 2,100 members.
The Xpander Group continues to be strong throughout the years
Jimmy Virador, the co-founder of CXP, shared that the group keeps getting stronger despite the challenges of the global health crisis. Mitsubishi Xpander owners from different walks of life such as entrepreneurs, families, and employees continue to be bonded together not only for themselves, but also for the community.
Recently, the CXP managed to raise Php 60,000 worth of donations for victims of Typhoon Ulysses last year. Thanks to the ample space of the MPV, the donated goods were delivered by the members themselves in their Mitsubishi Xpander.
A versatile 7-seater MPV
Mitsubishi Motor Philippines Corporation (MMPC) showed its appreciation for the Xpander Club. The company said that the members of the group are the best ambassadors it has in expanding the reach of the Mitsubishi-made MPV.
“We commend the club and its members for their passion and dedication to promote the Mitsubishi Xpander to more people around the country. They see and experience for themselves the true value of the Mitsubishi Xpander. MMPC will continue to support them and their activities as we wish them more power in the years to come,” said MMPC Assistant Vice President for Sales and Marketing Mark Parulan.
CXP keeps on growing
The Mitsubishi Xpander is a 7-seater MPV that succeeded the Adventure in the local lineup. It is available in three variants, with the recently-introduced Black Series as the top-spec model. For a more refined version, MMPC is offering the Xpander Cross which gets exclusive aesthetic enhancements.
By next year, members of the CXP could get their hands on the new Mitsubishi Xpander facelift which was recently launched in Indonesia. It comes with styling and powertrain updates including the use of a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
