Chery Auto Philippines has set foot in SM Megamall for the second stop of its The World of Luxury Nationwide Roadshow spearheaded by its new flagship model, the Tiggo 8 Pro.

The SM Megamall stop follows the successful first leg of the roadshow which kicked off at SM Aura Premier in Bonifacio Global City (BGC). It was viewed by mall goers, as well as attended by media personnel and content creators who continue to give a warm welcome to the new 7-seater midsize crossover.
Guests who will visit the booth in SM Megamall will get to know more about the Tiggo 8 Pro. The company is displaying the model’s base 1.6 Pro variant with a turbocharged gasoline direct injection (TDGI) and the top-of-the-line Tiggo 8 Pro plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).
The booth is set with a guest lounge that offers free coffee and refreshments. Among the Tiggo 8 Pro features guests can learn about are the 12 advanced driver assist system (ADAS) functions, large 12.3-inch head unit with Apple CarPlay, its competitive pricing, and PHEV technology.
Moreover, the Tiggo 8 Pro offers a convenient car ownership experience with its enticing after-sales services and programs under the Chery Preserv. It includes a 7-year engine warranty, a 7-year general warranty, a 3-year full preventive maintenance service (PMS), and 3-year roadside assistance.

You can visit The World of Luxury booth in SM Megamall until July 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Aside from the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, mall goers can also check out the other Tiggo models in the local lineup such as the Tiggo 7 Pro, Tiggo 2 Pro, and Tiggo 5x. Test drive activities are made available at the booth.
For those who couldn’t visit, the upcoming stops of the roadshow are in Eastwood City from July 29 to August 3, Estancia from August 12 to 18, SM City North EDSA from August 25 to 31, and SM Mall of Asia from September 1 to 7, 2022. Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao stops will be announced very soon.

The Tiggo 8 Pro 2023 is a seven-seater midsize crossover. In the local market, this model has two different variants, the Tiggo 8 Pro 1.6 AT, and the Tiggo 8 Pro PHEV. The Pro 1.6T AT is priced at Php 1,698,000, while the PHEV variant can be had for Php 2,500,000.
Under the hood, the Tiggo 8 Pro gets two engine options. For the top-spec PHEV trim, it uses a 1.5-liter inline-4 turbo gasoline engine that’s paired with an electric motor, as well as a battery. In total, this hybrid powertrain can produce up to 155 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. This variant then uses a hybrid gearbox.
The non-hybrid version meanwhile, gets a 1.6-liter inline-4 turbo gasoline engine that’s good for 195 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque. This version then gets a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
Size wise, it is 4,722mm long, 1,860mm wide, and 1,745mm tall. It also has a wheelbase length of 2710mm.
Locally, the Tiggo 8 Pro competes against the Maxus D90, Honda CR-V, Kaicene CX70, Geely Okavango, GAC GS8, among others.
