2022 Auto Focus Test Drive Festival is open until this weekend

After a two-year absence due to the pandemic, the Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival has officially made its return for the 2022 edition.

The test drive event is currently held at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds until May 29, 2022. It allows enthusiasts and car buyers to sample the vehicles of participating brands. Comparisons can also be easily done as all the cars are tested alongside each other.

Among the participating brands are Japanese automakers including Toyota, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, and Isuzu. Suzuki Philippines, Inc. (SPI) invited visitors to test its all-new Celerio which comes with a new look and increased dimensions. The new small hatchback also gets a new 1.0-liter K10C engine that is said to be more fuel-efficient.

Also included in the list of brands are Changan, GAC, Geely, and MG. Geely Philippines is showcasing the Coolray and Okavango along with its newest model, the Emgrand. The Geely Emgrand is the Chinese marque’s entry to the subcompact sedan market, offering a sophisticated-looking design inside and out.

For those who are in the market for an SUV, visitors of the 4-day test drive festival might consider test driving the Isuzu mu-X. It is an ideal vehicle this summer as the SUV can bring the family anywhere, even on unpaved roads or outright trails. The mu-X is joined by the D-Max pickup truck and Traviz at the brand’s booth.
