Third on the list is yet another subcompact sedan, the Mazda2. Mazda Philippines is offering this model with one variant only priced at Php 995,000. This is the same case for its hatchback counterpart, that is if you want a bit more cargo space.

4. Toyota Rush

Making a somewhat surprising entry to the list is the Toyota Rush. The model is installed with LED headlamps with a line guide. However, only the base Rush E MT variant falls under the P1-million mark at Php 983,000. Meanwhile, the higher-end variants are priced at Php 1,023,000 to Php 1,100,000.

There are many SUV-like features that the Toyota Rush offers such as a relatively high ground clearance rated at 220 mm and its new seating configuration that makes seven as standard across all variants. It is considered as one of the best value for money especially for those who wish for a relatively affordable family car. In other markets, the Toyota Rush is called the Daihatsu Terios due to the Japanese automaker's partnership with Daihatsu Motor.

5. Toyota Avanza

Last up on the list is yet another model from the Japanese automaker, the Toyota Avanza. This vehicle is the brand’s entry into the MPV segment. Take note, all variants of the Avanza come with LED headlamps except for the base J variant which is equipped with halogen headlamps instead.

This means that the Avanza Veloz, G, and E variants are installed with the said feature. But only the E variants are priced under the P1-million mark at a price that ranges from Php 876,000 for the MT option to Php 919,000 for the AT option. Toyota Avanza

The 2023 Toyota Avanza is a seven-seater MPV, which is now in its third-generation model. Locally, there are four trims for this MPV. These include the Avanza J 1.3 MT, the Avanza E 1.3 MT, Avanza E 1.3 CVT, and the Avanza G 1.5 CVT. Toyota Avanza 2023 Price Philippines starts at ₱833,000 for the entry-level J 1.3 MT, while the top-of-the-line Toyota Avanza G 1.5 CVT is priced at ₱1,059,000
