The Blue Oval has officially announced to Thai car buyers that the all-new Ford Ranger Raptor 2019 are now available for booking. This announcement was made at the ongoing Bangkok International Motor Show 2018. The hot pickup has a retail price for Bt 1,699,000 and can be ordered at right at the event and Ford’s dealerships.

The Ford Ranger Raptor measures 5398mm in length, 2180mm in width and 1873mm in height, which is wider, taller and longer than the current Ranger 4x4 with 1710mm front and rear tracks.

The Ranger’s brother is sold as an off-road pickup, the ground clearance is lifted to 283mm with an approach angle of 32.5-degrees. Besides, its departure angle and Ramp over angle measure at 24-degrees. The vehicle is also equipped with electronic locking rear differential.

The Ford Ranger Raptor 2019 is proud to be the only and the first high-speed off-road performance factory-built pickup truck. It is armed with ding resistant and front fenders dent for extreme use and a rear bumper combining with an integrated pull bar plus two hooks, creating a great towing capability of 3.8 tonnes. The step board is also formed by high-strength die-cast aluminum alloy.

It comes with 17’’ alloys covered by BF Goodrich 285/70 R17 tires which are mated to a fresh Terrain Management System.

As mentioned in our previous articles, the Raptor will be equipped with a fresh 2.0L Bi-Turbo diesel engine which is capable of cranking out 210 hp and 500 Nm of torque.

Stepping inside, the Ford Ranger Raptor 2019 has steering wheel fitted with magnesium paddle shifters to move through the ten-speed automatic transmission. The steering wheel gets an “on-center” mark for identifying the center location at higher speeds. Meanwhile, the seats will be wrapped by Alcantara and receive bigger side bolsters for bringing more senses of driving.

In addition to other similar features to the outgoing top-spec Ford Ranger Wildtrak, the Raptor boasts a new and unique feature dubbed Easy Lift Tailgate. The new feature helps decrease startup power by 66 percent.

An Android Auto support, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, 6-speakers, navigation, Apple CarPlay and 8’’ touchscreen are included in the Sync-3 infotainment system.

The Ford Ranger Raptor 2019 will come available with 5 options of colors including Conquer Grey, Frozen White, Shadow Black, Race Red and Lightning Blue.
