This uses an ultrasonic sensor that monitors the backseat. It can detect if there is a child at the rear seat once it recognizes movements.

If there is a child present, the system will display a notification via the instrument cluster screen. It can also send a message to your phone via the Hyundai’s Blue Link system. This feature will be present in Hyundai Santa Fe 2019.

This uses an iPhone and a sensor pad to let the parent know that they’ve left a child at the rear seat. The cushion will need to be placed under the seat where the child is usually sitting. The alarm will then beep to let you know that it’s ready. The alarm will sound vigorous if you’re more than 15 feet from the car.
