Nearly a year passed since the Toyota RAV4 2019 was unveiled. And now, it has truly come to the region. Singapore is proud to be the first destination of the heated-up SUV. With that, the other countries in Southeast Asia seem to welcome the new RAV4 soon.
Walking around, the Singaporean-spec RAV4 2019 showcases a completely new and revolutionary redesign, which is identical to the Japanese-market model. The 2019 RAV4 features an aggressive front fascia with sharp headlamps, lines, and creases, evoking design cues from bigger Toyota SUVs, especially the Toyota 4Runner.

Stepping inside, the interior is almost the same as the Japanese-spec, US-spec and European-spec models. That means it is equipped with the familiar floating touchscreen, completed by geometric shapes on the dashboard.
Speaking of the Singapore-spec model, it boasts Toyota Safety Sense, 7 airbags, wireless smartphone charging, and cabin illumination. Toyota Safety Sense consists of automatic emergency braking, pre-collision warning, auto high beam headlamps, radar cruise control, and lane departure warning.

Under the hood, the Toyota RAV4 2019 is powered by a new and stronger 2.0L engine which is capable of doling out 168 hp and 203 Nm of torque, works in a conjunction with a new CVT. For fuel economy, the mill is rated at 16.7 km/L.
According to the latest car news, there hasn’t any revelation about the arrival of the new Toyota RAV4 in the Philippines but we’re sure that Filipino car lovers won’t have to wait too long.

The Toyota RAV4 is a 5-seater compact crossover that is offered in the Philippines with a price that ranges from Php 2,289,000 to Php 2,632,000. The two variants for the RAV4 sold locally is the XLE 2.5 HEV CVT, and the LTD 2.5 HEV CVT.
Under the hood, this vehicle is powered by a 2.5-liter Dual VVT-I inline-4 gasoline engine working with an electric motor generator. Combined, this hybrid powertrain can produce up to 215 hp and 221 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to its front wheels through a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
Size-wise, the 2023 Toyota RAV4 is 4,600mm long, 1,855mm wide, and 1,685mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,690mm.
