Edaran Tan Chong Motor has recently launched the all-new Nissan Navara VL Plus 2018 which comes to life as the new top-of-the-line version in the Navara range in the Malaysian market. As its name evokes, the new pickup now gets fresh safety features and equipment.
The VL Plus comes equipped with Intelligent Around View Monitor which is also used in the Nissan Serena S-Hybrid and the X-Trail. Besides, it receives an Intelligent Mobility system from Nissan which use 4 cameras to offer 360 degrees bird’s-eye view of the car, helping the navigation in small spots and difficult parking situations much easier.

Additionally, the Nissan Navara VL Plus 2018 also boasts up to 7 airbags including driver knee, side and curtain and dual front airbags, plus a digital speedometer which is included in the state-of-the-art Driver-Support Display instrument cluster.

Meanwhile, the new version is still powered by a 2.5L turbodiesel engine which is capable of doling out 187 hp and 450 Nm of torque. The engine works in a conjunction with a 7-speed automatic gearbox and is driven by a four-wheel drive system.

According to the latest car news, in Malaysia, the Nissan Navara VL Plus 2018 gets a price tag of RM119,869 without insurance and with zero-rated GST while the Black Series will cost you RM123,643. The set of black parts consists of a sport bar, front and rear over fenders, fog light surrounds, side mirror covers, front bumper, front grille and matte headlamp eyelids.
