With that, we can assume that the all-new Ford Ranger could find its way to the Philippines as early as June since that is the earliest month one could think of when you mention mid-year or mid-2022. But, Ford PH is tight-lipped as to when exactly the next-gen Ranger will arrive on our shores.

Production for the 2023 Ford Ranger has already commenced in Thailand. In fact, factory workers held a send-off ceremony for the first completed batch of the fourth-generation midsize pickup. The first batch is bound for Australia, where the model has been developed since the previous iteration dating back to 2010.

Speaking of Thailand, Philkotse’s Content Manager Jacob Oliva flew to Thailand to test drive the next-gen 2023 Ford Ranger. And it’s safe to say that he was not disappointed with the capabilities and improvements integrated into the all-new Ranger. Oliva noted that the new version of Ford’s midsize pickup truck can satisfy individuals who are waiting for its debut. He added that it has “set the bar higher for lifestyle trucks.”

While official Philippine specs are yet to be revealed by Ford, the all-new Ranger features a revamped exterior along with a restyled interior. What’s more interesting is that the Ranger is now more tech-savvy as it comes with new features such as a tablet-like infotainment system.

Ford PH is also secretive as of this writing when it comes to engine options. To put things in perspective, other markets are bound to get a 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel engine that puts out 250 hp and 597 Nm of torque. It comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Of note, Ford PH has yet to announce the exact official launch date of the all-new 2023 Ranger. But, the Blue Oval brand has indeed confirmed that will arrive in the local market by mid-2022. With that, it can debut in the Philippines as early as June or it can also arrive in July or in August.

So, are you waiting for the all-new Ford Ranger’s Philippine launch? Cast your vote now in Philkotse’s Poll of the Week.
