Recently, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has done a test on the fuel efficiency of the heated-up Mitsubishi Xpander 2018 with its GLS Sport AT and GLX MT, supported by the Automobile Association of the Philippines. These versions are operated along SCTEX and TPLEX with 4 other cutthroat models applying similar parameters as eco test of the Department of Energy.
Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has done a test on the fuel efficiency of the heated-up Xpander 2018
With the average distance of 236.58km, the manual Xpander 2018 recorded 21.01 kilometer per liter (km/L) while the automatic version netted 22.94 km /L. Meanwhile, the unnamed rivals including diesels did not perform as well as the Xpander - the 3rd model reached 19.8km/L and the lowest level of fuel efficiency rated at 17.4 km/L.
That performance of the Mitsubishi Xpander 2018 is quite impressive, especially when the automatic version works with only a 4-speed transmission. That said, the 1.5L DOHC gasoline powertrain seems to be an economical unit.
