After series of spy shots, the much-awaited Nissan Terra 2018 has now been finally unveiled with first official image teasers. According to latest car news, the pick-up passenger vehicle (PPV) will officially break cover in this year’s Beijing Auto Show this April in China.

As can be seen from the images, the Terra inherits a number of features from its Navara sibling, particularly the familiar front fascia. However, there are also some fresh cues to distinguish the PPV from its SUV brother such as a new set of LED head lamps, a bigger V-Motion grille and a revised front bumper.

It is worth noting here that there is no black plastic cladding or flares found in the Terra. Instead, the Japanese marque has added crisp creases and pronounced wheel arches all around to give the vehicle an aggressive appearance. Moving on to the rear, we can easily notice the presence of a chrome trim which connects the distinctive set of tail lamps together.

The Nissan Terra 2018 interior is carried over with the same styling cues of its Navara brother, which is reflected through the similar dashboard, trim and some other pieces. The Chinese-spec Terra also appears to be equipped with a dual-zone climate control system and leather-trimmed seats.

Though leaking a set of teaser images, Nissan still keeps quiet about the Terra’s technical details at the moment. However, we expect that further information regarding equipment package and engine options will be disclosed during its confirmed debut in China this April.
For now, the Nissan Terra 2018 is confirmed to sit on the same body-on-frame platform that is found in the Navara. Therefore, car enthusiasts can totally hope for the same 4x4 and powerful off-road capability to be offered for the PPV. The Chinese-market Terra is also said to come in with one engine option which is a 2.5-liter turbo diesel engine connected to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
