The 2021 Nissan Navara is set to be unleashed as the Japanese carmaker released a new teaser video of its midsize pickup truck. Nissan has also revealed that the 2021 Navara is set to make its debut on November 5.

The teaser video doesn’t reveal much but it did preview the look of the 2021 Nissan Navara’s front fascia. Based on the teaser, the 2021 Navara is fitted with revamped headlights that come with distinctive daytime running lights. The teaser also suggests that the new Nissan Navara could come with a more angular front bumper as well as beefier fender flares.

With that in mind, the teaser appears to be the exact look of the leaked Navara images that we previously reported. So, if those leaked images hold true, the 2021 Navara will have a restyled grille that comes with a massive chrome trim surround as well as a new set of stylish wheels. The rear, on the other hand, gets a new taillight design.
Aside from those, official details about the 2021 Nissan Navara is scarce. However, there are reports that Nissan is replacing the Navara’s current 2.5-liter diesel engine with a 2.3-liter twin-turbo diesel power unit.
Safety-wise, Nissan is expected to integrate the Navara with enhanced safety features. The 2021 Navara is reported to come with the Nissan Intelligent Mobility, a safety tech feature that includes vehicle dynamic control (VDC), blind-spot warning, 360-degree surround camera view, high beam assist, among many others.

The 2021 Navara’s upcoming debut is quite a big deal because Nissan’s midsize pickup hasn’t had a major design update since 2014. As such, we could expect that the 2021 Nissan Navara would come with significant design updates that would help it challenge its segment rivals. Speaking of which, we can’t help but anticipate the debut of the new Navara in the local market. From the looks of it, the 2021 Nissan Navara is ready for a slugfest against its rivals such as the Toyota Hilux, Mitsubishi Strada, Ford Ranger, among others.

In addition, the bed dimensions (L x W x H x H) are 1,470 mm long, 1,495 mm wide, and 470 mm and 520 mm in height. Locally, this pickup truck competes against the likes of the Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger, and Mitsubishi Strada.
