Nissan makes us wonder: Are we driving the wrong color car?

It appears that we’re very conservative about car colors.

Color is one of the deciding factors when buying a car. However, the fact remains that many drivers have been going for a car color which they don’t like indeed, according to the results of a recent survey from Nissan. Namely, 86% of European drivers own a car whose color doesn’t match the owner’s personality.

Honestly, the main purpose of this survey is not just researching drivers’ taste. The Japanese brand, in truth, wants to promote its new Nissan Micra 2018 hot hatch which will allow buyers to freely customize in various vivid colors. To be specific, 10 different exterior hues will be available for customers to choose, including impressive colors like Pulse Green and Energy Orange. Even, if you opt for a Micra, you’re also able to add contrasting finishes to a raft of parts on both in- and outside.

Although most car owners seems to be still loyal to safe and traditional paints such as black, white, gray and silver, Nissan strongly believes that we should live with ourselves, yes, meaning driving a car with a “high-energy” color. Bright Orange is not bad.

So, which color will you go for to shine when the all-new Nissan Micra wings its way?
