Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in the country, opened the new Hyundai Silang dealership in Cavite via a virtual ceremony. The new dealership is expected to further expand the brand’s network in the country considering that Cavite is a populated and fast-growing province.

With the growing cases of COVID-19, the Hyundai Silang has adopted Hyundai’s Guidelines for Protection and Safety (GPS) to assure everyone’s safety and well-being within the dealership. For those who aren’t able to visit the new dealership for health reasons, the brand has rolled out the D2D Program which provides home service to customers.
“Today, we stand at the front lines of a new revolution in our struggle to overcome the devastating impact of COVID-19. We at Hyundai are one with the people of Silang in restoring and revitalizing local businesses,” said HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo.

The new dealership is led by dealer principal William Chiongbian II. Hyundai Silang is the sixth dealership under Hyundai Alabang, Inc. It will improve the brand’s presence in the southern part of Metro Manila alongside Hyundai Alabang and Hyundai Las Piñas.
Silangeños can now take a closer look at the wide array of vehicles the Korean car brand offers in the country. Starting from HARI’s entry-level vehicle, the Reina subcompact sedan, to the premium Palisade midsize SUV that is priced at Php 3,240,000.

The Hyundai Reina is a four-door, subcompact sedan for the Philippine market. Locally, this sedan has four different variants. These are the Reina GL 1.4 MT, Reina GL 1.4 AT, Reina GL 1.4 MT (w/ Apple CarPlay/Android Auto), and the Reina GL 1.4 AT (w/ Apple CarPlay/Android Auto). Size-wise, the Reina is 4,300mm long, 1,705mm wide, and 1,460mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,570mm, and a ground clearance of 150mm.
Locally, the Hyundai Reina’s direct rivals is the Suzuki Dzire and Kia Soluto. Other vehicles in its class also include the Toyota Vios, Mitsubishi Mirage G4, Nissan Almera, Suzuki Ciaz, etc.
