LTO launches Online Appointment System for MV, DL renewal

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) online appointment will facilitate the faster renewal of driver’s license and registration of vehicles. With the online appointment now operational, this will reduce long lines at LTO offices so renewing your license won’t be as hectic as before.

“Dito mag log-in ka lang i-set mo yung appointment mo and then pagpunta mo dun sa LTO sa area ng online duon aasikasuhin ka na lahat hindi kana magpapali-palipat ng window,” said LTO’s Chief of IT Division Rector Antiga.

However, LTO clarified that its online appointment will only accept the renewal of driver’s license and vehicle registrations. If you are planning to get your driver’s license for the first time, then you still need to visit your respective LTO offices so you can register your fingerprints and face IDs.

To get started, visit www.LTO.net.ph to secure an appointment. You can either schedule an appointment for the renewal of your driver’s license online or the renewal of your motor vehicle registration.

Fill out all the necessary information needed then print your Appointment Slip as it will be presented during your transaction in LTO.

A special lane will be designated for those who reserved a slot from LTO’s Online Appointment System. There will be five slots accommodated per hour in the special lane so people who have a reservation will have a faster transaction.

If an applicant has a reservation but failed to arrive at his/her scheduled time, then that applicant will be advised to process his/her transaction in a regular lane.

Once you arrive at the LTO branches, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) shall require you to present your Appointment Slip and other requirements for MV/DL Renewal transaction.

The CSR shall attach your Appointment Slip with a Special Queuing Number and direct you to proceed to your designated Special Lane for your transaction.

The LTO’s Online Appointment System will be hosting a Viewing facility where authorized LTO users can retrieve and print the list of appointments for a specific date, view the appointment details, and update the status of each appointment record.
