So say your plate number is ABC 1234. You are required to register your motor vehicle in April (since the last number is 4) between the 1st to 7th day of the month (since the 2nd to the last digit is 3). This regulation applies to any form or configuration of all plate numbers.

Statement from DOTr in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
NOTE: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, LTO has implemented safety protocols in its offices causing long queues. For this reason, LTO has extended the validity of vehicle registration for 30 days. As such, if your schedule is in August, your vehicle registration schedule is now adjusted to September. No penalties and surcharge shall be collected for renewal transactions within the revised schedules.

1. Can I transfer my next registration to other LTO branch?
Yes, you can completely transfer your next registration to other LTO branch. However, you have to note that you will be charged Php 100 for Change of Venue (COV) of your motor vehicle registration. It’s not much but it’s good to know so you won’t get short on cash.
2. How much is the fine for LTO penalty for expired motorcycle registration philippines 2021?
The LTO charges a P100 weekly fine for late registration. If the delay lasts many months but not longer than a year, the fine will be equal to 50% of the MVUC.
3. Can I change my plate number?

According to Batas Pambansa Blg. 43, it states that the identification and letters of any motor vehicle number plate shall be permanently assigned to such motor vehicle during its lifetime.

- Proof of Payment (OR) for the cost of replacement plate/duplicate plate/lost sticker
- (In case of For Hire MVs) Certification from LTFRB that plates have not been surrendered
- (In case of sole proprietorship) Secretary’s Certificate in case of MV is in the name of a corporation or DTI certificate
- PNP-HPG clearance
