These will be used by Shopee for its delivery network.

The well-known online selling platform Shopee Philippines has received a new fleet of NMR85H Aluminum Vans from Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC). The vans were delivered together with Isuzu Pasig under Isuzu Automotive Dealership Inc. (IADI), and they will be used by the Shopee Xpress Philippines Inc. (SPX) for deliveries.

During the turnover ceremony of the Isuzu trucks, IPC President Noboru Murakami was present. Also in attendance were SPX Director Martin Yu, IADI Chief Operating Officer Alex Paguio, as well as Isuzu Pasig Branch Manager Eric Wambangco.

Murakami himself has expressed his gratitude towards Shopee for putting their trust in Isuzu products. He further shared that Isuzu “will continue to support Shopee on aftersales to lessen downtime and to increase profit to your business.”

If you’re unfamiliar with the Isuzu NMR85H trucks that Shopee received, then be aware that it falls under the Japanese brand’s N-Series of trucks. It is also known as the Isuzu Elf in Japan. It is also sold as a rebadged Nissan, Chevrolet, and GMC model in various parts of the world.

Powering the locally available NMR85H is the Isuzu 3.0-liter 4JJI-TCC turbodiesel engine. Paired with a four-speed manual gearbox, this Isuzu model is capable of producing up to 122 horsepower and 354 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to its rear.
