Recently, the Hyundai Accent 2018 price and specs have been announced in the U.S. This all-new Accent promises to be an excellent sedan in B-segment, which is cosseted with a new look and a plethora of upgrades.
Hyundai Accent 2018 Review
The base-level Accent SE will be furnished with standard features including 15-inch wheels with a spare tire, a 5-inch color touchscreen audio system, Bluetooth phone interface, steering wheel mounted audio and a rearview camera. Speaking of the powertrain, the Accent runs a 1.6-liter Gamma 4-cylinder GDI engine generating 130 hp and 161 Nm of peak torque. In the SE, this engine will come aired to a 6-speed manual transmission. If you want to go for an automatic one, pay an extra cost.

As to higher-end trims, like the SEL, more techs and amenities would be offered such as a 7-inch display audio system integrated with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual charging USB, Forward Collision-avoidance Assist and 15-inch alloys. In particular, the Limited variant will come exclusively with a power sunroof, a proximity key with push button start and a new set of massive 17-inch alloys.

The Hyundai Accent is the Korean marque's entry to the competitive subcompact sedan category. It is available in six variants and the Hyundai Accent 2023 Philippines price that ranges from Php 790,000 to Php 1,038,000. Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) offers this model with two engine options consisting of gasoline and diesel mills. Lower-end variants use a 1.4-liter Kappa MPI Dual CVVT gasoline engine that makes 99 hp and 132 Nm of torque, while higher-end variants are equipped with a 1.6-liter CRDi turbodiesel engine that delivers 126 hp and 260 Nm of torque. As for the transmission, the engines can be connected to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Moving to the dimensions, the Accent spans 4,440 mm in length, 1,729 mm in width, and 1,460 mm in height, with a wheelbase rated at 2,600 mm. In the Philippines, this Korean sedan is competing against the likes of the Toyota Vios, Honda City, and Nissan Almera.
