2. Hyundai Accent 2019 Philippines: Exterior Review
Walking around, the Philippine-spec Accent looks almost the same as the model that was previewed at the 2018 Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show. It is built based on the “mini-Elantra” design with dramatic sweeps and curves throughout the body.
It comes adorned with a signature Y-shaped grille which is also used in the Kona and Santa Fe, plus glossier upswept headlamps. On the side, the Hyundai Accent 2019 is highlighted by a bold character line while the rood receives a coupe-like profile. Moving to the rear, it comes with a rounded off rear bumper and slim wraparound tail lamps.

3. Hyundai Accent 2019 Philippines: Interior Review
Stepping inside, the latest Hyundai Accent shows off significant changes, compared to the previous model. The dashboard layout is arranged like the T-bar of the Hyundai Elantra.
The radio is placed higher than before and is defensed by air-conditioning vents while air-con controls are also located at higher positions, widening the center console’s space.
Besides, the Hyundai Accent 2019 Philippines now get fresh multi-information display graphics and a thicker-rimmed steering wheel. All versions come standard with rear air-conditioning vents.

7. Hyundai Accent 2019 Philippines: Segment rivals
Hyundai Accent vs. Honda Fit
It’s fair to say that the Hyundai Accent’s versatility is not as good as the Honda Fit. The Fit comes with convenient seats which can be folded in multiple ways, opening more space for the cargo. Loading items in the Fit is also easier thanks to its hatch lift gate.
Although, the Accent is also offered foldable seats for a spacious cargo but in general, its flexibility still can’t beat the Fit’s.

Hyundai Accent vs. Ford Fiesta
Putting the two models in a comparison of handling capability and performance, the Ford Fiesta seems to be the winner. The Fiesta has been well-known to be one of the better-handling cars in its class with a performance-oriented option. It also reaches the high marks for design and quality interior materials, giving the car a more premium feel.

Hyundai Accent vs. Kia Rio
Actually, the Kia Rio is evaluated to be more sport-oriented than the Hyundai Accent thanks to its good engine and sharp handling. On the other hand, the Accent brings the driver basic sporty feel with its smooth running.
