For a little background, the Honda Sensing is the Japanese marque’s in-house Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), providing active and passive safety features. It is developed to help drivers avoid unfortunate road situations such as car accidents, collisions with pedestrians, and missing road signs.

As for the latest 11th-generation Honda Civic, the compact sedan is installed with a monocular camera for better recognition of the road, signs, and vehicles ahead. The following safety tech features are included in the PH-spec model’s Honda Sensing:

  • Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow (LSF)
  • Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)
  • Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning (RDW with LDW)
  • Auto High-Beam (AHB)
  • Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN) (exclusive to all-new Civic)

The Honda Sensing Insurance Partnership Program is up for grabs until December 31, 2022. Included in the coverage of the comprehensive motor vehicle insurance are Own Damage/Theft, Acts of Nature, Voluntary Third-Party Liability/Excess Bodily Injury, Voluntary Third-Party Liability/Property Damage, and Passenger Accident (Php 50,000 per seat + medical reimbursement).
