The prim and proper exterior look is one of the things that made the Geely Emgrand stand out when it was launched in the Philippines last February 2022. Aside from the looks, the Emgrand also comes with an enticing price tag, undercutting its segment rivals.
Geely Emgrand Premium
At launch, Geely’s sedan was offered in two variants with a starting price of Php 798,000. The top-spec Premium trim then retails at Php 908,000, which is lower in terms of pricing compared to the top-of-the-line Toyota Vios G (nonwhite pearl) variant.
It’s now a different story when you look at the Emgrand’s pricing as Geely Philippines implemented a price increase. It now starts at Php 945,000 while the top-spec Premium variant now retails at Php 999,000.

With that, the Geely Emgrand Premium trim is now more expensive than the Toyota Vios G (nonwhite pearl). As of this writing, the said Vios model is priced at Php 980,000. In case you want to compare it with the Vios G in White Pearl option, the Emgrand is still priced higher as the Japanese sedan comes with a price tag of Php 995,000.
The Emgrand’s price increase was confirmed by our insider sources among Geely dealerships. In fact, Geely PH is now offering a new entry-level Emgrand variant that comes with a manual transmission. The car brand is now accepting orders for the base Emgrand S, which retails at Php 735,000.
Geely Okavango Urban Plus
Aside from the Emgrand, all Geely models available in the Philippines have been given a price increase. The entry-level trim of the seven-seater Okavango gets a significant increase amounting to Php 141,000. Meanwhile, the top-spec Okavango has been given a Php 247,000 price bump.
