Foton PH clinches several awards at brand’s global conference

Foton Motor Philippines Inc. has received several awards from Foton Global. These were given at the brand’s 2023 Global Partners Conference, which was held in Beijing, China in April 2023.

This set of accolades includes the highly coveted Global Remarkable Distributor Award for 2022. As per its name, it hails Foton PH for its excellence in sales, service, and after-sales operations. The brand’s local branch beat 66 other Foton distributors from 54 countries for this particular award.

Foton Motor Philippines General Manager Levy Santos, likewise claimed the “Best Individual of 2022 - Excellence in Management” award. If one remembers, Santos spearheaded notable Foton PH achievements like the introduction of the all-new Thunder pickup truck, the 2023 Foton Truck Show, and the launch of the electric-powered Foton Tornado EV.

Other Foton PH executives present at the conference include Donabel Santon and Marian Peñaflor. Both also cinched the “Best Individual of 2022 - Remarkable Contribution Awards.” Likewise in attendance were Foton PH Assistant Vice President for Sales Operations Donabel Santos, and Foton PH Vice President for Finance Marian Peñaflor. 

With regard to Foton PH’s accolades, Santos said that they are extremely proud to receive them. He likewise added that these symbolize the hard work and dedication of not just the awardees but also the Foton Motor Philippines family as a whole. 

As a side note, Foton says that it has surpassed the 10 million mark in total vehicles sold in the global market in 2021, which that car brand achieved in 25 years. Now in 2023, it has delivered its 11 millionth vehicle via the delivery of a Foton Thunder in Mexico. 

The Foton Tornado EV

For its part, Foton PH’s best-selling light-duty truck is a big contributor to the brand’s forward momentum. It is even said that the brand’s local distributor has now achieved a leadership status among other global markets including Southeast Asia, Latin America, and other regions.
