Chevrolet Tracker

The Chevrolet Tracker Philippines 2022 is a subcompact crossover SUV made by General Motors in China and Brazil. It replaces the Trax, in the Philippine market as well as the Chinese market. Despite being sold here, it is actually based on its larger brothers sold in other regions.

For the Philippines, there are two Tracker trims. The entry-level version is the Tracker LS 1.0T AT. It assumes a more subdued crossover look, but it does get some chrome trim pieces. The top-spec model meanwhile is the Tracker LS Redline Edition 1.0 AT. As per its name, it's sportier-looking that the entry-level trim. It features blacked-out parts with contrasting red pieces, a set of black-colored wheels, among others.

Both variants of the Tracker sold locally use a 1.0-liter turbocharged inline-3 gasoline mill. This engine can make up to 116hp and 175Nm of torque. Power is then sent to the front wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.

Dimensions-wise, the Tracker is 4,270 mm long, 1,791 mm wide, and 1,627 mm high, with a wheelbase rated at 2,570 mm. Locally, this American subcompact crossover is competing against the likes of the Geely Coolray, Hyundai Kona, and Honda HR-V.
