The Cebu Cordova Link Expressway Corporation (CCLEC) is enhancing the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) experience by opening a food park beside its toll plaza.
CCLEX Tropical Food Park
Similar to the Drive and Dine Facilities located on various Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) roads, this new food park aims to provide more convenience, as well as enjoyable drives to motorists. Unlike the latter though, this food park is temporary as it will be running for about six months only.
“Although this food park is just temporary and will run for about six months, we are simultaneously planning on building a more permanent toll service facility for the benefit of our motorists, or what we will call the CCLEX Drive and Dine,” said CCLEC Vice President and Project Manager Herbert Laboy.
“This way, CCLEX users who want to take a short break from their trips, wherever they may be headed, can do so while enjoying the scenic view that CCLEX offers,” added Laboy.
It is filled with food and fun
A variety of selections are up for grabs at the CCLEX Tropical Food Park as it houses more than 40 different establishments. It also offers free entertainment via live band performances. With these, the temporary food park might aid in increasing the presence of the country’s longest and tallest bridge.
Besides announcing the opening of the food park, the toll road company is once again encouraging motorists to download the MPT DriveHub app. This one-stop app can provide more convenience for Easytrip users as it comes with various functions such as reloading of RFID, emergency roadside assistance, toll fee computation, and traffic advisory.
Earlier this month, MPTC handed over two brand-new MG ZS units to two lucky winners of its Download, Drive, and Win! promo. In an effort to increase the number of users of the MPT DriveHub, the promo only required participants to download the app to join the raffle.

Note that the CCLEX Tropical Food Park is open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. But on Fridays to Sundays, the food park is welcoming motorists from 8:00 a.m. until midnight.
