BMW Philippines has expanded its EV infrastructure at the Autoallee BMW dealership in Quezon City. This marks the brand’s third electric vehicle (EV) dealership in the country.

The EV dealership aims to address the need for premium electric mobility solutions in the local market, investing in five AC chargers and one DC fast charger. BMW i technicians are also present at the facility to provide comprehensive servicing solutions.
“We aim to advance the market's shift towards greener mobility by allowing more dealer partners to offer our electric vehicles and solutions. This provides a convenient opportunity for discerning and environmentally-conscious consumers to experience the full BMW electric vehicle lineup," said President of SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp Spencer Yu.
Locally, the Bavarian automaker is offering three EVs – the iX3, iX, and i7.
The dealership adopted EV equipment
The BMW iX3 is currently the entry-level EV in the Philippine lineup. This is essentially the BMW X3 compact crossover minus the combustion engine and the parts that go along with it. Using a DC fast charger, the all-electric crossover can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 32 minutes.
The BMW iX is the larger electric crossover in the range, coming with two electric motors that put out 326 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque. iX owners who will charge at dealerships using a fast charger can reload the battery from 10 to 80 percent in less than 40 minutes.
The BMW i7 is the brand’s flagship EV. With a dual motor setup capable of producing 544 horsepower and 745 Nm of torque, the electric full-size sedan completes a zero to 100 km/h acceleration time in just 4.7 seconds. It can also be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 34 minutes using a DC charger.
