Audi RS7 Sportback 2019 to make up to 700 hp

The Audi RS7 Sportback 2019 is said to come in two engine options, one of them will be a 700-hp hybrid powertrain.

As claimed by Marc Lichte – Audi’s Chief Designer, the Audi RS7 Sportback 2019, which has been scheduled to debut next year, will be equipped with the most advanced equipment of the A7 lineup. At launch, customers can make choices between a standard RS7 and a more powerful version supported by a hybrid powertrain.

The Audi RS7 Sportback 2019 is expected to be launched at the end of next year

Specifically, the regular RS Sportback will be powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine pushing out 650 hp and 813 Nm of torque. In the meantime, the RS7 Sportback will be pampered with a greater output of 700 hp thanks to a new hybrid engine derived from the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid. As a results, this new power plant makes the output of the Audi RS7 Sportback 2019 increase by 20 hp. Also, the biturbo 4.0-lier V8 combustion engine will contribute 550 hp to total output and the remaining 150 hp is the offering of the electric motor.

Precise details of the acceleration has yet to be disclosed. However, the upcoming RS7 Sportback 2019 will definitely be a super speed car. Compared to the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid which can do the 0-100 kph within 3.4 seconds before topping out at 310 km/h, it’s strongly believed that the new Audi could do much better.
