The Audi Q5 2018 has finally hit the Philippine market.

According to latest car news, PGA - Audi’s authorized distributor in the Philippines has so far revealed the all-new Audi Q5 2018 at the Manila Polo Club.

Audi Q5 2018: Overview

The Audi Q5 2018 has got overall dimensions worth 4,660 mm x 1,890 mm x 1,660 mm (L x W x H) and an impressive ground clearance of 282 mm. Generally, the SUV is much bigger than its predecessor in all dimensions whereas it is conversely 90 kg lighter since the German marque has made full use of aluminum and high tensile steel. In consequence, the new Q5 decisively provides better performance, efficiency and handling as well.

Outside, the front end, apparently, receives a bulk of changes with a massive single-frame grille flanked by LED head lamps with daytime running lights and energetic turn signals. The side profile is also adorned with a sharper character line and redesigned car doors. Excluding those alterations, the Q5 2018 is still an iconic Audi.

Interior-wise, the cabin is more spacious as a result of bigger size. Besides, the cargo space is likewise expanded up to 610L and 1,550L when folding down the adjustable rear seats.

The Audi Q5 2018 also features a high-tech cabin with a couple of large displays: an Audi’s trademark Virtual Cockpit 12.3-inch TFT display and a smaller 8.3-inch MMI® center infotainment one integrated with touchpad, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in addition to Audi smartphone interface.

The Audi Q5 2018 also features a high-tech cabin 

In terms of hardware, a 188 hp/400 Nm 2.0L TDI and 2.0L TFSI with 350Nm and 248 hp engines are offered for the Philippine market. Both engines are paired with a 7-speed dual clutch transmission and certainly, the SUV will come standard with Audi’s Quattro AWD with ultra tech.

Available variants include the S-line, Design and Premium. Official prices have yet to be announced but it is estimated that the 2018 Q5 will set you back from P4.95 million and P5.05 million for the TDI and TFSI, respectively.
