Since the Philippine debut will happen in less than two weeks, authorized Toyota dealerships across the country will start to accept inquiries and open reservations as early as March 1, 2022. The all-new Toyota Avanza is poised to be an impressive vehicle that can comfortably carry Filipino families.

“Our mobility requirements are rapidly evolving, especially after the disruptions caused by the pandemic, but one thing remains constant – Filipinos will always need a reliable car that can offer ample, comfortable space for the family, including extended family members,” said TMP First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations Sherwin Chualim.

TMP said that the full specifications of the all-new Avanza will be released soon on its official website. The only significant feature it stated is the model’s use of a new platform called the Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA).

Under the DNGA, the Toyota Avanza no longer sits on a body-on-frame chassis. Instead, the MPV now uses a unibody chassis, which generally provides a more comfortable ride. Another expected major update is the shift from a rear-wheel-drive to a front-wheel-drive (FWD) system.

The all-new PH-spec Toyota Avanza will be available in four variants and five colors, with a starting price of Php 813,000. Interested individuals can catch the new model’s online launch via TMP’s social media channels. It is said to showcase the family-car characteristics and more value-for-money features of the Avanza.

“This has always been the strength of the Avanza, but for this 2022 release, expect even more value-for-money features on top of its striking style upgrades inside and out,” added Chualim.
