Recently, Mazda has revealed the all-new Mazda CX-30 2019 which is said to replace the sub-compact CX-3. The car is built on the Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture, receives a great bump in the current size.
The Mazda CX-30 comes with sportier driving dynamics and a bolder design concept, compared to the CX-3. It is a good combination between the bold toughness of an SUV and the elegant beauty of a coupe. The front fascia is still adorned with signature wing of the brand but it is now sharper and deeper, along with sculpted contours of the bumper and a triangular grille.
On the sides, the CX-30 also gets the same Yohaku or beauty of empty space which is also used in the current Mazda3. Moving to the rear, the tailgate gets a smaller arched shape while the rear fender is now wider.

As for the size, the Mazda CX-30 2019 measures 4,395 mm in length, 1,795 mm in width and 1,540 mm in height, which is much enormous than the CX-3. It now gets a 2,655 mm wheelbase.
Stepping inside, the SUV features 2 contrasting characteristics: a roomy space for occupants and a convenient cockpit for the driver. The CX-30 has a larger distance between front seats and also offers a spacious center armrest and center console. The rear seating rows are also roomier with better legroom and headroom. It comes with 430L of cargo, plus a power tailgate to boot. Thanks to the Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture, the Mazda CX-30 2019 receives more high-strength steel than the CX-3.
Under the hood, the CX-30 is powered by a variety of 4-cylinder engines consisting of the Skyactiv-X. Other engine options include the 1.8-liter Skyactiv-D and the 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G with cylinder deactivation, combined with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The Skyactiv-G and Skyactiv-X are mated to the M Hybrid system of Mazda for greater fuel economy. The car is offered i-Activ AWD with G-Vectoring Control Plus torque vectoring system.

According to the latest car news, the all-new Mazda CX-30 2019 will go on sale along with the CX-5 and CX-3 but in the long term, it may replace the Mazda CX-3. The car will land in the European market first and the first batch will arrive there in the middle of 2019. Being a new model of Mazda, the CX-30 will be also offered for all markets in the world, including the Philippine market.
