Lamborghini has given us a glimpse into its future electrified lineup with the unveiling of the Lanzador concept.
Lamborghini Lanzador
The Lamborghini Lanzador concept is the brand’s first pure electric vehicle (EV) at the Monterey Car Week. It combines the ultra-high performance components of the Revuelto and the SUV characteristics of the Urus.
Like the Revuelto, the Landazor utilizes an all-wheel-drive (AWD) layout albeit using four motors instead of three. The Italian supercar maker did not reveal the specs just yet. But it did mention integrating a new generation high-performance battery that promises a long range.
The first Lambo EV in the form of a concept
In terms of design, the concept seems to borrow many design cues from the Urus, including the high ground clearance. Meanwhile, the taillights are reminiscent of the ones in the brand’s first hybrid supercar, the Sian FKP 37.
Unlike other sustainable interiors that compromise quality, Lamborghini assures luxury and durability is still integrated inside the two-door Lanzador with a 2+2 seating configuration.
The EV uses sustainable materials
It is still unclear whether the concept will be brought to life or not. What we know is that the Raging Bull brand will introduce its first all-electric car in 2028. While we await for five more years, the company will continue electrifying its lineup by spending at least 1.8 billion euros (or around Php 110 billion).
“The Lanzador concept delivers on each of the elements that should define the first full-electric Lamborghini,” said Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Stephan Winkelmann.
“It was important to uncover the first vision of the fourth model at The Quail event to share a glimpse into the future while surrounded by current Lamborghini models that represent 60 years of the company’s DNA,” added Winkelmann.

Also present at the event dubbed “The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering” were the V12 hybrid-powered Revuelto, all-terrain Huracan Sterrato, and the Urus Performante. The performance-oriented Urus arrived in Monterey, California boasting the fastest production SUV record at Pikes Peak Summit with a 10:32.064 time.
