Hyundai has brought an excitement for car lovers in the US when announcing that the redesigned Hyundai Tucson 2019, the next-gen Hyundai Santa Fe 2019 and Hyundai Kona Electric 2018 would make their debuts all together at the New York Auto Show set to take place on the 28th or March. The all-new Hyundai Santa Fe 2019 has already made its debut at this year's Geneva Motor Show but has yet to be shown to the US customers. The new Santa Fe was born to replace its predecessor - the Santa Fe Sport. The all-new model is a five-seater while the seven-seat version is now offered in the Santa Fe XL.

Speaking of the car engine, there are 2 options for gasoline-fueled engines: a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with 232 hp and a 2.4L 4-cylinder mill with about 185 hp. Besides, a 2.2 L turbo-diesel unit is also especially armed on the XL version with 200 hp and 434 Nm of torque.

Speaking of the refreshed Hyundai Tucson 2019, there has actually been not much public information about this SUV. Spy shots of the Tucson 2019 disclose that it may likely get a significant change at the front fascia including fresh headlamps and a bigger grille. Meanwhile, the higher-level version comes equipped with an engine producing 201 hp and 395 Nm of torque, along with a 64-kWh battery with 470 km of driving range.

The 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe is a seven-seater midsize crossover. It assumes a front-engine, front-wheel drive layout. Locally, the new Santa Fe’s sole variant is the GLS 2.2R CRDi DCT, which is priced at Php 2,420,000.
Size-wise, the Philippine-spec Santa Fe is 4,785mm long, 1,900mm wide, and 1,710mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,765mm, and a ground clearance of 176mm.
Under the hood of the Hyundai Santa Fe is a 2.2-liter turbodiesel mill that can produce up to 200 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque. The said engine is then paired to a seven-speed automatic gearbox.
Locally, the Hyundai Santa Fe competes against the likes of the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-8, Jeep Cherokee, etc.
