It is likely that the 2019 Chevrolet Malibu will get many cosmetic tweaks.

Under the camouflage, the new Chevrolet Malibu appears to be the same as the current version. However, any changes will likely be subtle on the outside such as at the headlights, taillights, the front and rear bumper. Chevy’s designers could also decide to refresh the front grille a little bit, but it’s just a hypothesis.

Additionally, there are also minor changes at the rear, especially in the trunk lid and the tops of the fenders. These make the rear deck wider and more planted.

Concerning the interior, we are not expecting any drastic changes compared to the current model. Uncovered by the camouflage inside, the new Malibu likely had the current car’s cabin.

We still wonder whether the 2019 Malibu will bring some hardware changes. Maybe the car will share a turbo diesel 1.6-liter unit with the Cruze and Equinox. Even, the Malibu Hybrid could be offered.
