Initially, the range-topping Initiale Paris form is equipped with a 1.6-liter Energy TCe 200. However, the high-end 2017 Renault Espace will come with an all-new Energy TCe 225.

Developed by Renault Sport, the Energy TCe 225 delivers an output of 225 horsepower (165 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque (40 Nm more than the Energy TCe 200 engine that it replaces). Besides, the new engine will be coupled with a 7-speed automatic transmission. Fuel consumption and emissions of the car remain controlled for this power level, at 6.8 l/100 km and 152 g/km of CO2 (NEDC cycle).
The Energy TCe 225 engine is available on the Zen, Intense and Initiale Paris trim levels.

Apart from the all-new engine, Renault’s high-end crossover has also received a number of further upgrades. Outside, the 2017 Renault Espace is also furnished with new set of 18-inch and 19-inch alloy wheels along with a new body color Titanium Grey. In the cabin, the new features on the 2017 model are new Sand Grey leather upholstery and ventilated seats. Additionally, the car is now compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto via its R-Link 2 navigation system.

According to car news from the French automaker, the 2017 Renaut Espace will be available in its domestic market with the starting price of €40,600 (₱ 2,247,532).
