1. Top best car event in the world: Tokyo Motor Show

The Tokyo Motor Show is a yearly event held in the Japanese capital. It is one of the biggest motor shows in the world, showcasing only the best in Japanese car engineering. It focuses primarily on Concept cars from Japanese brands which makes it a hotbed for activity, especially from local and international motoring news outlets.

The yearly event is traditionally held at the Tokyo Big Sight or formally the Tokyo International Exhibition Center. It was first called the All Japan Motor Show and first opened its curtains to the public in 1954. Since then, and after the meteoric rise of Japanese car brands such as Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Mitsubishi, the local and international public’s interest only grew to a fever pitch.

SEMA has been the birthing grounds of all new technology and artistry in the third party and aftermarket equipment market for OEM cars. If you are crazy about modding cars with insane body kits, bolt-on parts for your engine and sick sound systems, SEMA is the place to be. Companies would showcase their concept products to the public to show what they can do for your car to make to look, go and sound fast!

It first opened its doors in 1963 by a group of aftermarket pioneers. With more than 6,000 members worldwide, fitting all of them under one location was just almost impossible. So you can expect an overload on the senses as almost every imaginable customization feature and restoration results are showcased in the event.

This is THE place to be for those crazy about parts for their cars you cannot find anywhere. The show is a 3-day affair from November 3 to 6, 2020 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Which starts just in time right after your Tokyo Motor Show jaunt. Just hop on to a plane and color me jealous for another few days!

3. Top best car event in the world: North American International Auto Show (NAIAS)

No, NAIAS is not at least 2 airports. It stands for the North American International Auto Show and it has been Detroit’s way to flex its manufacturing and engineering muscle against the best in the world.

Historically, it used to be fertile ground for brands exclusively located in the city of Detroit but nowadays with attendance reaching record numbers of almost a million, it also features other brands showcasing the best of the best in their current and future lineups.

This year’s event will be held at the TCF center in Detroit, Michigan from June 6 to 21, 2020. It is right smack in the middle of the year so that should at least give you enough time to save up for an airline ticket and apply for a tourist’s visa, all you have to do is tell the immigration officer the sent you and wants YOU to visit the NAIAS this year. If you say Formula One, then you are absolutely right. 5. Top best car event in the world: Dakar Rally

The Dakar Rally is an annual cross-country rally racing event participated in by a multitude of vehicle classes in different categories. Formerly called the Paris-Dakar Rally, the race started from Paris, France to Dakar in Senegal, but since the cancellation of the race series in 2008 due to security reasons, it has since been held in South American countries until this year where it is held for the first time ever in Saudi Arabia.

It still retains the name Dakar Rally so it won't distance itself from its roots. It is participated in by Motorbikes, Quad ATVs, Cars, Trucks and UTVs.
