According to the latest car news, Subaru intends to bring to the upcoming 2017 Tokyo Motor Show a couple of concepts based on the latest small hatchback Subaru Impreza and Subaru XV crossover. These two concepts will shine in Tokyo next month under the name “Subaru Impreza Future Sport concept” and “Subaru XV Fun Adventure concept,” respectively.

Let’s commence with the Subaru Impreza Future Sport concept. The first impression of this hot hatch is its dazzling pearl yellow hue. Along with this, the vehicle is also adorned with a slew of sporty style equipment that will “encourage the driver to enjoy driving even more freely than before,” as claimed by the Japanese car maker. In addition, other highlights comprise front and rear bumpers, dual exhaust tips, and reshaped fog lamps.

The vehicle is also adorned with a slew of sporty styling equipment
Speaking of the Subaru XV Fun Adventure concept, the crossover now looks more aggressive, rugged, and rigid. Overall, that silhouette is fit to be a real off-roader. In particular, the bright yellow metallic color will make the XV concept “shine powerfully in the great outdoors.” In comparison with the standard version, this concept receives off-road tires, a roof carrier, and additional black plastic cladding.

Alongside those two concepts, Subaru also has the Viziv Performance, Subaru WRX STI S208, BRZ STI Sport, and especially, the Outback Limited Smart Edition on display at the approaching car event.

The Subaru XV 2023 Philippines is a subcompact, five-seater, all-wheel-drive crossover. In the local market, this model has the XV 2.0i Eyesight CVT, and the XV GT Edition 2.0i-S EyeSight variants. The former has a standard retail price of Php 1,908,000, while the GT Edition can be had for php 2,008,000.
Under the hood of the Subaru XV is a 2.0-liter boxer four engine that is capable of producing up to 154 horsepower and 196 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to all four wheels via a continuously variable transmission.
Size-wise, the Philippine-spec XV is 4,485mm long, 1800mm wide, and 1,615mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,665mm, and a ground clearance of 220mm.
Locally, the Subaru XV rivals the Mazda CX-3, and Mazda CX-30, Honda HR-V, Audi Q2, among others.
